Following on from the success of our recent Marketing Zoom Chat and the integration of digital technology into our everyday lives, Mainstreet SA is pleased to announce that we are now embarking on fortnightly Virtual Street Corner Catch-ups for mainstreet practitioners.
Although we must still keep our physical distance it’s important to stay connected and continue to support each other, so if you are missing the water cooler, corridor, lunchroom and café conversations that keep you connected at work, then we would like to invite you to our first Virtual Street Corner Catch-up via Zoom on Wednesday 27th May at 4pm.
The first session will be guest hosted by the City of Unley, with Akarra Klingberg from the Business and Economic Development team kicking off the discussion. Akarra has been immersed in all things King William Road, and will provide the group with an update on navigating a pandemic hot on the heels of a complete streetscape upgrade!
After this we will have the opportunity for informal chat about issues in your own mainstreets, precincts and town centres. Are your experiences typical of other mainstreets? How is the crisis playing out in other mainstreets? What trends are emerging that might have implications for mainstreets in the future? What ideas do people have for aiding the recovery? Let's chat!
These events will be FREE for Mainstreet SA Members, and we invite our Member trader associations and Councils to share this with businesses in your mainstreets.
When: Wednesday 27th May at 4.00pm
Cost: FREE for Mainstreet SA Members and businesses within their mainstreet
Members can register now by completing the form below.
